The Miss Western 2021 Beauty Pageant Contestants were blessed and honoured with the visit of two high profiled women in the Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region in the persons of Hon. Abena Kwallah and Madam Diana Adjei.

Hon. Abena Kwallah is the Western Regional Women’s Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the Regional Director for the Ghana School Feeding Programme and CEO of Kwallabees Group of Companies. Madam Diana Adjei is also the CEO of Aseda Foundation, a partner of the beauty pageant event.
The beauty queens reported to the house on Friday, April 2, 2021, to have their medicals, photoshoots and shoot their profile documentary videos.
Hon. Abena Kwallah and Madam Diana Adjei took turns to speak on topics like “Who is a Woman“, “Women Empowerment” and “The Role of Women in National Development” to the girls. They both encouraged and empowered the girls to focus on whatever they want to achieve in life. They used their lives as examples. They ended their speeches by blessing the ladies and wished them well in this year’s contest.
Auditions for this year’s event kick-started on March 6th at Takoradi Library Complex through to 20th March at the GIT Hotel in Tarkwa. After careful screening and selection processes, 16 dignified and elegant ladies were selected from Takoradi, Nzema and Tarkwa to represent their communities respectively and all of them have reported to the house.
The winner for this year’s pageant will receive a brand new car plus the crown. She will also be taken through hand skill training and also partner with Aseda Foundation to offer hand skill training for students in Senior High Schools, Universities, Training colleges, etc to resonate with the theme of the 2021 Miss Western Pageant, “The Joy of Hands, is Our Beauty“.
