“As an upcoming music group, I think we deserve some commendation for our efforts to serve our fans with the best of visuals. Not everyone can do what we have done and as a matter of fact, we must be commended for our bid to give the public one of the best viewing ecstasy they wouldn’t regret. I will say from the preparatory stage to the main shooting of the video cost us about $1200.” – Cobby Page, BYD Manager said.
This video was shot when the Government of Ghana had imposed Lockdown in many communities. In an interview, Mp3xclusives.com had with Cobby Page, the many refuted claims that the aforementioned amount is just for the hype but told us exclusively that some crew members came from Kumasi and couldn’t go back because their communities had been locked so they had to be housed in Tarkwa until the release of the lockdown.
That really made them exceed their budget but those expenditures weren’t even added to the $1200 mentioned earlier.
He also said “Though we’re a young and upcoming group in the Ghanaian Music Industry, our brand connects well with both the Street and the Corporate world. We want to show the world that we can stay here in Tarkwa and break through the music industry into the mainstream”
The video was shot by PM Solutions in Tarkwa at locations like Cyanide, Railway Quarters and Main Station. The MEBU song and its visuals are released, they are available on all major streaming services.
