Multiple-Award winning Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known in showbiz circles as Sarkodie has become the first Ghanaian musician to hit over 200 Million streams on YouTube.

Sarkodie’s Youtube channel has over 640K subscribers and 244 videos to his credit.
The two-time BET award winner, Sarkodie’s account on Google-owned audio and video streaming platform, YouTube has enjoyed these massive streams since joining in 2012. Sarkodie’s Adonai Remix song which featured missing Castro still remains the most viewed video in Ghana with over 76 Million views.
The SarkCess Music boss has released a new banger dubbed “Happy Day” which has reigning 2020 VGMA Artiste of The Year, Kuami Eugene featured on it. The controversial song is currently trending on YouTube at No. 1 and has over 1 Million views just a week after its upload.
This beautifully crafted Happy Day masterpiece was produced by MOG Beatz and mixed and mastered by Possigee. The song has some lines which seem to be endorsing the sitting president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufu-Addo, and sparked a lot of uncertainties among many Entertainment enthusiasts and Ghanaians.
