Nana Kay Wins Best Newscaster Of The Year Award At 2020 WRTP

Fast-rising and hardworking news journalist based in both Tarkwa and Dompim, Eric Tordzro popularly known in the media circles as Odehyieba Nana Kay of Pure FM, Tarkwa has been adjudged the best newscaster in the Western and Western North Regions of Ghana in the just ended 2nd edition of the Western Radio and Television Personality Awards 2020.

Odehyieba Nana Kay has worked as a mainstream newscaster for over 2years at Pure FM in Tarkwa.

The Newscaster of The Year category was keenly contested by heavyweights like Bretuoba Acheampomaa, Kofi Ansah Srasraku, Nana Ama Antwiwa, Wofa Ayaba, Ama Nyarkoah Abronoma, Obidombie Owuso Aduomi, Paa Kojo Peters, and Matilda Youpele among which Odehyieba Nana Kay emerged as the overall winner.

Odehyieba Nana Kay recently won the Best Newscaster Award at the Wassaman Entertainment and Business Awards held at Melody Hotel, Asankragwa on the 7th of November, 2020. The year is really proving to be a good one for the young journalist.

Western Radio and Television Personality Awards (WRTP) is an award Organized by Exone Entertainment in the Western and Western North Regions. The 2nd Edition of the WRTP took place this year at Takoradi Mall in the Western Region on the 21st of November, 2020. Celebrities like Akyere Bruwa, Auntie Bee, Zionfelix, Bill Asamoah among others were there to grace the occasion.
