Trending Ghanaian afrobeat/afro-fusion singer and daughter of Legendary Highlife Musician, Jackline Acheampong popularly known in showbiz circles as Gyakie has set another record with her hit song “Forever“.

Forever was released in April 2020 and has broken Ghana’s long standing record being held by Sarkodie’s Adonai.
Shazam is an application that can identify music, movies, advertising, and television shows, based on a short sample played and using the microphone on the device. It was created by London-based Shazam Entertainment and has been owned by Apple Inc. since 2018.
At the time of writing this article, Sarkodie’s Adonai, which was released about 6years ago and featured Castro used to hold the title. The song has been shazamed over 722,128 times and Gyakie’s Forever which was released just last year has also been shazamed 732,852 times and still counting.
