WRTP Awards 2020: Full List Of Winners For The 2020 Western Radio & Television Personality Awards

WRTP Awards 2020: The 2nd edition of the Western Radio and Television Personality Awards (WRTP) came off on Saturday, 21st November 2020 at the Takoradi Mall in the Western Region of Ghana. The colorful event saw astute media personnel being honored for their service to their localities and mother Ghana in general.

Western Radio and Television Personality Awards (WRTP) is an award Organized by Exone Entertainment in the Western and Western North Regions. The 2020 Edition which happens to be the second time of the WRTP awards took place this year at Takoradi Mall in the Western Region.

Madam Cynthia Ga-are Jawal was honored as best Western Government Health Worker Of The Year,  JM Ceaser of Skyy Power, Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson, of Connect FM, Ekow Smith, and celebrities like Akyere Bruwa, Auntie Bee, Zionfelix, Bill Asamoah among others were there to grace the occasion. Legendary Professor Kuntu Blankson, Celebrity blogger Zionfelix, Nacee of Alltunezgh, among others were also honored on the WRTP Awards night for their various roles in the media industry.

The night saw Doctor Rock of Best FM, Bogoso who won the SPORTS HOST OF THE YEAR award take home the ultimate prize i.e, a brand new saloon car for being the overall highest voter. Nana Kay of Pure FM, Tarkwa also won the Best Newscaster of The Year Award.

Notably, the other winners of the various categories took home fridges, air-conditions and 32inch Television from Nasco. This year’s WRTP awards has proved it can match the national RTP awards. Congratulations to Exone Entertainment for this achievement.
